Licensed Practical Nurse - Part-Time

About the Role

This part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides community-based nursing services to individuals with intellectual, developmental, psychiatric, or behavioral disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health conditions
• Administer medications and provide medical treatments
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans
• Train staff on medication administration, infection control, and safety protocols
• Serve as a liaison with medical providers and advocate for individuals' needs
• Offer training on topics such as self-medication and health education

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or state certification
• Current LPN/LVN licensure
• At least one year of relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Certifications such as CPR/First Aid
• Effective communication skills
