Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care with other departments
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Ensure professional accountability for assigned patients
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN licensure
- LPN-IV certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire
Skills and experience
Open to both new and experienced LPNs.
Key duties
- Provide care for a medical cardiac unit managing chronic and acute conditions, including heart failure, respiratory distress, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes, and GI issues
- Coordinate therapies such as cath lab, dialysis, infusion, chemo, and anticoagulation
