Licensed Practical Nurse or Graduate LPN - Medical Telemetry

About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under the supervision of a licensed practitioner or RN. Maintains professional accountability, ensures patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinates care with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Administers care to medical cardiac patients, managing conditions such as heart failure, respiratory distress, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes, and gastrointestinal issues.
• Coordinates treatments like cath lab procedures, dialysis, outpatient infusions, and anticoagulation therapies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license and LPN-IV certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.

New graduates and experienced LPNs are welcome.

Schedule

Works 12-hour shifts with rotational weekends.
