About the Role
This position involves providing patient-centered nursing care, supporting physicians, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized nursing procedures
- Administer medications and monitor patient conditions
- Teach preventive health measures
- Maintain a safe environment and follow infection control protocols
- Record comprehensive patient data
- Assist with examinations and minor surgeries
- Train new staff members
- Manage supplies
- Demonstrate excellent service and cultural sensitivity
- Support the Nurse Clinic with an emphasis on teamwork, safety, and patient satisfaction
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Licensure as an LPN in Colorado
- High school diploma or GED
- BLS certification within 3 months of hire
Qualifications & Skills
- Preferred: experience with diverse patient populations
- Preferred: I.V. therapy certification
- Preferred: bilingual skills, especially Spanish
- Strong customer service focus
- Attention to safety
- Ability to work within scope of practice
