Licensed Practical Nurse - Neurology - Nights - Full-Time

About the role

Full-time, rotational night shift position on the Neurology floor, providing care for patients with moderate to high acuity conditions such as stroke, seizures, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and neuromuscular disorders.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care under supervision or guidance of licensed nurses
• Coordinate care with other departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Perform neurological assessments
• Assist with patient mobility
• Manage medication administration
• Implement fall prevention measures

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
• Current LPN license
• BLS certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for most of the shift

Experience is welcomed but not required.
