Licensed Practical Nurse | Neuro | Days | 40 hours/week

Role Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care under supervision or direction of licensed professionals. Maintains accountability for patient care, coordinates with other departments, and ensures patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Performs duties aligned with organizational standards, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing nursing assessments and interventions
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient treatment
• Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and safety
• Ensure adherence to clinical standards and organizational policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current LPN license in Missouri, meeting all State Board requirements
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; LPN-IV Certification completed within 3 months (or up to 1 year based on unit needs)
• Open to new graduates and experienced LPNs

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, patient lifting/turning with assistance, and ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs.
