Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - SIGN ON BONUS
About the role
Care Options for Kids is dedicated to providing pediatric home health nursing services where LPNs can offer focused, one-on-one care in the comfort of a child's home. This role involves supporting pediatric patients with skilled nursing needs, working closely with a registered nurse and clinical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in the home setting
- Work closely with a registered nurse and clinical leadership
- Support pediatric patients with skilled nursing needs
- Offer one-on-one care to ensure full attention and consistency in patient care
Requirements
- Valid Delaware LPN License or Multistate License
- Physical within one year
- PPD or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Valid BLS CPR card (obtained in person not online)
- Valid driver's license
- G-tube, trach, vent experience or willingness to train
Qualifications
Experience with pediatric patients and skilled nursing care is preferred but not required. The role requires a strong commitment to patient care and a positive attitude.
Skills
Effective communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently are essential. Experience with pediatric patients and familiarity with home health care protocols are beneficial.
