Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- PM Shift with sign on bonus

About the role

The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to the residents.
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Pass medication and complete assessments and treatments.
• Document the provision of these services.
• Occasionally participate in activities of daily living care or assist the Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Requirements

• A valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina or a compact license that allows you to practice in North Carolina.
• Long-term care experience.
• A positive attitude and bedside manner.
• A love for working with people.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a licensed practical nurse program.
