Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- PM Shift with sign on bonus

About the role

The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

• Supervise CNAs in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained as per the requirements of the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Passing medication and completing assessments and treatments.
• Documenting the provision of these services.
• Occasionally participating in activities of daily living care or assisting CNAs.

Requirements

• A valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina or a compact license that allows you to practice in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Long-term care experience.
• A positive attitude and bedside manner.
• A love for working with people.
