Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- Day and Night Shift with sign on bonus

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Responsibilities include passing medication, completing assessments and treatments, documenting services, and occasionally assisting with activities of daily living or supporting CNAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs in accordance with federal, state, and local standards
• Pass medication and complete assessments and treatments
• Document provision of services
• Occasionally participate in activities of daily living care or assist CNAs

Requirements

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina or a compact license allowing practice in North Carolina
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Positive attitude and bedside manner
• Love for working with people
