- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Required to maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse license in Louisiana
- Required to maintain a current certification in BLS
- Required to participate in annual Infection Prevention education
- Required to follow all Employee Health protocols (i.e., annual TB skin test, annual flu vaccine, and annual employee physical (if maintaining insurance benefits), etc.)
- Required to complete annual training including Relias, Ethics, and Sexual Harassment
- Required to attend all mandatory inservices including departmental meetings
- Required to have basic computer knowledge
- Required to have the ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally
- Required to pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens
