About the role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you’ll develop meaningful relationships by learning the life stories of our residents and staff. Each day, you’ll use your nursing skills to promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents, leading to a rewarding sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
  • Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed resident needs.
  • Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Work toward the common goal of excellent care for residents.
  • Support a respectful and positive work environment through strong interpersonal communication.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
  • Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values—Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence—to residents, family members, customers, and staff.

Requirements

  • Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
  • Proficient medication management skills.
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
