About the role
The Clinical Support LPN provides staffing coverage as needed to multiple CorrectHealth facilities throughout Louisiana and surrounding states. This position supports the Clinical Services Department through staff education, site accreditation, continuous quality improvement, site transitions, and other operational activities. Duties emphasize appropriate resource utilization and performance standards established by NCCHC, ACA, and other accrediting bodies. Travel throughout Louisiana is required, and flexibility to adjust schedule according to staffing needs is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide staffing coverage at multiple CorrectHealth facilities as needed.
- Support the Clinical Services Department in staff education and training.
- Assist with site accreditation and continuous quality improvement programs.
- Participate in site transitions and other operational activities.
- Ensure compliance with NCCHC, ACA, and state healthcare standards in correctional environments.
Requirements
- Graduate from a national or state-approved school of nursing.
- Current LPN license in the state of employment (Louisiana).
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- 3–5 years of LPN experience, with at least 1 year of correctional experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of NCCHC, ACA, and state correctional healthcare standards.
- Strong communication, training, and leadership skills.
