Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)-Clinical Services

About the role

The Clinical Services (LPN) position is a full-time opportunity based in Georgia with some travel to clinical sites throughout the state. The position may include daily travel and flexible scheduling to adjust according to staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Provides staffing coverage as needed to multiple CH facilities throughout Georgia and surrounding states.
• Serves as a support to the Clinical Services Department through activities including staff education, site accreditation, program & site continuous quality improvement, and site transition.
• Operates with an emphasis on appropriate resource utilization and performance standards as established by NCCHC, ACA, and other accrediting bodies.
• Fills in at various facilities within the designated territory.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a national or state-approved school of nursing.
• Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a LPN in the state of employment.
• Has a working knowledge of NCCHC, ACA, and state standards of health care in the correctional environment.
• Has at least 3-5 years LPN experience, with at least 1 year of correctional experience preferred.
• Strong communication, training, and leadership skills are required.
