About the Role
We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional care to our residents. You will have all of the training, support, tools, and equipment needed to deliver the highest degree of quality care. Our team of nursing care professionals and mentors—including a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing, and Administrator—will be by your side every day.
Responsibilities
- Enhance the clinical care and quality of life of our residents while ensuring all resident rights are protected.
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
- Check residents daily to ensure prescribed treatments are properly administered by nursing personnel and evaluate their physical and emotional status.
- Keep the RN Supervisor informed about the status of residents, staff, and related matters.
- Implement recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
- Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, taking blood, sputum, and urine specimens, etc., per facility policies.
- Complete all required record-keeping forms/charts upon resident admission, discharge, or transfer, and file in the resident’s chart or forward to the appropriate department.
- Give and receive nursing reports at the start and end of shift duty hours.
- Investigate complaints and grievances, making necessary oral/written reports to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
- Present a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior, and speech.
- Adhere to facility policies and standards.
Requirements
- Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- A caring and compassionate personality and demeanor.

- Ability to work scheduled shifts.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
