Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

About the Role

We are looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide exceptional care to our residents. You will work alongside a dedicated team, including a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing, and Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the clinical care and quality of life of our residents while ensuring all resident rights are protected.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Check residents daily to ensure prescribed treatments are properly administered and evaluate their physical and emotional status.
• Keep the RN Supervisor informed about resident status, staff matters, and related issues.
• Implement recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
• Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, managing colostomy and drainage bags, and collecting blood, sputum, and urine specimens per facility policies.
• Complete all required record-keeping forms/charts for resident admissions, discharges, and transfers, and file them appropriately.
• Give and receive nursing reports at the start and end of shifts.
• Investigate complaints and grievances, and report findings to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
• Maintain a professional image through dress, behavior, and speech while adhering to facility policies and standards.

Requirements

• Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• A caring and compassionate personality.

• Ability to work scheduled shifts.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
