Job Summary

As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you'll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays. Average stays are two to three weeks, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and see the impact of your care.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (LPN/LVN)
  • Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • No travel required

Responsibilities

  • Administering medications and treatments, monitoring responses, and reporting changes promptly
  • Aiding with mobility, transfers, and ADLs to support therapy goals and promote independence
  • Monitoring vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly
  • Documenting progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination
  • Informing and supporting patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques
  • Collaborating with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care
