Role Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) at an inpatient rehab facility provides compassionate, patient-centered care to help individuals regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness or injury.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient responses
• Auxiliary with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Maintain vigilance over vital signs and neurological status, reporting changes promptly
• Document patient progress to inform care planning
• Inform patients and families about recovery, safety, and self-care
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality, personalized care

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse license (obtained within 30 days of employment)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (within 30 days)
• No prior experience required
• Strong communication, compassionate, and team-oriented skills
