About the role

The LPN II role in Discharge Services involves implementing nursing care for assigned patients, supporting RNs in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Implementing nursing care for assigned patients
• Serving as a support to RNs in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Using advanced patient care skills gained through education and training
• Maintaining basic working knowledge of common computer applications

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent educational credentials as per Florida Board of Nursing
• 30-hour IV certification
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within 90 days of employment
• Licenses and certifications including BLS/CPR and Florida Licensed Practical Nurse

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of common computer applications
• Advanced patient care skills gained through education and training
