About the Role
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision, ensuring safety, implementing, and evaluating care plans. They supervise nursing assistants, manage the environment, and adhere to standards of practice and policies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver nursing services
- Monitor resident well-being and maintain a safe environment
- Follow all policies and perform duties per State Nurse Practice Act
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
Requirements
- Licensed as an LPN in the state
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to handle supplies and equipment
- Calculate drug dosages accurately
- Meet health requirements
- Demonstrate positive communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Proficiency in English
