Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-Time, Night

About the Role

Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, focusing on patient data collection, monitoring, documentation, and patient/family education. Performs licensed patient care functions and ensures confidentiality of medical records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care aligned with individualized care plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, and psychosocial needs.
• Monitor and document patient status, including vital signs, dressings, drains, and lab results.
• Communicate observations and changes in patient condition to Registered Nurses or Physicians.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records.
• Collect and document data using specialized equipment and orient patients/families to routines.
• Administer and document medications per policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of one year LPN experience or equivalent training, such as residency programs or LPN to RN transition programs.
• Current LPN license recognized by NCSBN Compact or the state.
• Ability to perform delegated patient care functions and communicate effectively.
