About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing basic patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Physicians. Duties include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with patient transfers, and ensuring patient comfort.
Responsibilities
- Administering medications as prescribed by physicians
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Assisting with patient transfers and ambulation
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Providing basic hygiene and grooming to patients
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety
Requirements
- Current Michigan LPN license
- At least one year of relevant healthcare experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Basic computer literacy
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology
- Knowledge of pharmacology
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills

Pay
