Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

The LPN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients. He/She will collaborate with the patient, the family, and members of the health care team. This role works closely with the RN in caring for the patients.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients
• Implementing nursing care plans based on assessment findings
• Evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions
• Collaborating with the patient, family, and healthcare team
• Working closely with the RN in providing comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Licensed Nurse's Certificate and license in good standing with the State of Mississippi
• One Year Minimum Experience Required
• CPR certified

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited LPN program

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
