About the role
The LPN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients. He/She will collaborate with the patient, the family, and members of the health care team. This role works closely with the RN in caring for the patients.
Responsibilities
- Assessing the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients
- Implementing nursing care plans based on assessment findings
- Evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions
- Collaborating with the patient, family, and healthcare team
- Working closely with the RN in providing comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Licensed Nurse's Certificate and license in good standing with the State of Mississippi
- One Year Minimum Experience Required
- CPR certified
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
