About the role
This position involves providing patient care in a family medicine clinic setting, performing various clinical duties, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and rooms patients for examination by obtaining vital signs and updating health information.
- Performs laboratory procedures using aseptic techniques and infection control guidelines.
- Aids in procedures and surgeries under the supervision of physicians.
- Administers medications and initiates, maintains, and discontinues IV therapy.
- Provides patient education and coordinates follow-up appointments and referrals.
- Communicates with healthcare team members and documents patient conditions accurately.
- Performs advanced clinical tasks with supervision.
- Organizes and prepares exam and lab areas, cleans and stocks supplies, and maintains equipment.
- Assists with patient positioning and transportation, including lifting and moving patients.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Completion of an accredited or approved practical nursing program.
- No prior experience required.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer skills, including keyboarding and electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as described.

Pay
$24.10 - $36.15 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
M-F 8-5, with benefits eligibility.
