Licensed Plumber
Responsibilities
- Responds promptly to customer service calls
- Counsels thoroughly on plumbing issues
- Accurately diagnoses problems
- Offers effective solutions and estimates
- Successfully closes service sales
- Installs and repairs various plumbing fixtures
- Conducts sewer and drain cleaning services
- Ensures thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites
- Prepares invoices
- Collects payment and explains Roto-Rooter guarantee
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license
- Required to hold an Oregon state plumbing license
- Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience
- Proven track record in the sale of plumbing products and services
- Full knowledge of plumbing systems
- Must have good written and oral communication skills
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
The most experienced commissioned based plumbers at our Portland branch, located in Tualatin, can make between $150,000-$200,000 yearly.
Qualifications
We require a valid driver’s license and a required Oregon state plumbing license. Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience are needed, along with a proven track record in the sale of plumbing products and services. Full knowledge of plumbing systems is essential, and plumbers must gain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement) within the first year of employment.
