Licensed Plumber

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to customer service calls
• Counsels thoroughly on plumbing issues
• Accurately diagnoses problems
• Offers effective solutions and estimates
• Sells plumbing products and services
• Installs and repairs various plumbing fixtures
• Conducts sewer and drain cleaning services
• Ensures thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites
• Prepares invoices
• Collects payment and explains Roto-Rooter guarantee

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license
• Required to hold a State plumbing license
• Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience
• Proven track record in the sale of plumbing products and services
• Full knowledge of plumbing systems
• Must gain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement) within the first year of employment
• Journeyman license or equivalent certification as specified by the state in which branch operates
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
