Licensed Physical Therapist - Clinical Manager

Duties

  • Ensure clinical staff maintain high standards of patient care and evidence-based practices
  • Work with billing teams to ensure proper coding and reimbursement
  • Serve as liaison between therapists, physicians, administration, and other departments
  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding clinical staff
  • Provide mentorship and ensure adherence to clinical standards
  • Monitor treatment plans and patient outcomes
  • Ensure care is evidence-based and aligned with best practices
  • Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition
  • Establish, revise, and evaluate a plan of care
  • Evaluate and assess participants to determine mobility level and other functional abilities
  • Develop Plan of Care, develop treatment programs when indicated, set goals, and provide treatment
  • Record and sign treatments in participants' chart, record, sign, and date progress notes
  • Attend staff meetings and take part in participant care planning

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Must be licensed in the State of Michigan and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state practice guidelines
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy required; Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy curriculum
  • Current Basic Life Support certificate, or ability to obtain within 45 days of the date of hire
  • Previous experience preferred within a residential environment
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to multitask and move between responsibilities in a fluid manner
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment while maintaining positive energy
