Duties
- Ensure clinical staff maintain high standards of patient care and evidence-based practices
- Work with billing teams to ensure proper coding and reimbursement
- Serve as liaison between therapists, physicians, administration, and other departments
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding clinical staff
- Provide mentorship and ensure adherence to clinical standards
- Monitor treatment plans and patient outcomes
- Ensure care is evidence-based and aligned with best practices
- Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition
- Establish, revise, and evaluate a plan of care
- Evaluate and assess participants to determine mobility level and other functional abilities
- Develop Plan of Care, develop treatment programs when indicated, set goals, and provide treatment
- Record and sign treatments in participants' chart, record, sign, and date progress notes
- Attend staff meetings and take part in participant care planning
Qualifications
- Demonstrates eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Must be licensed in the State of Michigan and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state practice guidelines
- Master's Degree or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy required; Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy curriculum
- Current Basic Life Support certificate, or ability to obtain within 45 days of the date of hire
- Previous experience preferred within a residential environment
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to multitask and move between responsibilities in a fluid manner
