The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct rehabilitation care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following all applicable laws and standards. Responsibilities Include Following treatment plans, documenting patient progress accurately, and utilizing therapy software. Communicating effectively with patients, families, and team members. Assisting in patient evacuation and demonstrating dependable attendance. Maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies. Qualifications And Skills Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program and current licensure in the state. CPR certification (obtained upon hire or during orientation). Preferred one year of experience; new grads are welcome. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and good body mechanics. Strong interpersonal, judgment, and communication skills. Key Duties Implementing treatment plans, charting, and ensuring patient safety. Demonstrating excellent customer service and teamwork. Engaging in community health activities and maintaining confidentiality. Exhibiting professionalism by adhering to codes of conduct and completing compliance training. Additional Requirements Ability to perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, lifting, and walking. Excellent English language skills.
