Licensed Nursing Home Administrator - Skilled & Long Term Care
About the role
This position leads and directs the overall operations of the facility, focusing on providing excellent care for residents while achieving business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct facility programs and activities in accordance with operational budget and state/federal regulations.
- Lead facility management staff and consultants in developing and working from a business plan that focuses on all aspects of facility operations, including setting priorities and job assignments.
- Monitor each department’s activities, communicate policies, evaluate performance, provide feedback, observe, coach, and discipline as needed.
- Develop an environment that allows for creative thinking, problem-solving, and empowerment in the development of a facility management team.
- Oversee regular rounds to monitor nursing care, support department operations, cleanliness, staff morale, and ensure resident needs are being addressed.
- Manage facility budgets and business practices, including labor costs, payables, and receivables.
- Communicate budget guidelines and expectations to Department Managers.
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy for the facility that reflects service opportunities, competition, market area changes, and maximizes census, payor mix, and ancillary revenues.
- Lead and monitor key staff and facility staff to play an active role in carrying out the marketing plan.
Requirements
Current/active State Assisted Living Administrator license (Nursing Home) and Current/active state Residential Care Administrator license (Assisted Living / Residential Care).
Organized and detailed in work performance. Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience. Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility.

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
