Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of facility operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, families, and regulatory agencies
- Supervise nursing staff and support personnel to maintain high standards of care
- Ensure facility compliance at both federal and state levels, including routine inspections
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Promote resident rights, respect, and dignity
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to optimize operational efficiency
- Coordinate with social workers to address residents' emotional and social needs
- Implement staff training programs on best practices in care techniques
- Foster a positive environment that encourages resident engagement and participation
Requirements
- Current state Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- 1–3 years of experience managing a healthcare or long-term care facility
- Proven experience in operations management within a healthcare setting
- Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team development and performance management
- Knowledge of resident rights, care plans, and nursing home regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications
