Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of facility operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, families, and regulatory agencies
  • Supervise nursing staff and support personnel to maintain high standards of care
  • Ensure facility compliance at both federal and state levels, including routine inspections
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
  • Promote resident rights, respect, and dignity
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to optimize operational efficiency
  • Coordinate with social workers to address residents' emotional and social needs
  • Implement staff training programs on best practices in care techniques
  • Foster a positive environment that encourages resident engagement and participation

Requirements

  • Current state Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience managing a healthcare or long-term care facility
  • Proven experience in operations management within a healthcare setting
  • Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team development and performance management
  • Knowledge of resident rights, care plans, and nursing home regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
