Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all facility operations.
- Foster a culture of compassion, accountability, teamwork, and excellence in resident care.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining continuous survey readiness.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives that enhance clinical outcomes, resident satisfaction, and operational performance.
- Develop, mentor, and inspire department leaders to achieve organizational goals.
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and census growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, referral partners, and community stakeholders to deliver exceptional care.
- Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing workforce.
- Promote a positive workplace culture that supports employee engagement, accountability, and professional development.
- Lead successful regulatory surveys and implement continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current Alabama Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in good standing, or the ability to obtain licensure upon hire and relocation.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator or in a progressive senior leadership role within long-term care.
- Experience working in a unionized environment is required.
- Demonstrated success in regulatory compliance, financial management, quality improvement, census development, and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, employees, referral sources, and community partners.
