About the role
The New Hampshire Veterans Home is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant I-III / LMNA to provide essential support and direct care to residents.
Responsibilities
- LNA I: Provides support and care under direct supervision.
- LNA II: Independently provides support and care with direction from licensed nursing staff.
- LNA III: Independently provides support and care with general oversight from licensed nursing staff.
- Mentors new nursing assistants.
- Makes suggestions for care, treatment, and practice/procedural improvements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- NH Nursing Assistant license.
- Drivers license.
- Physical stamina for prolonged standing and performing tasks like lifting, transferring, and transporting residents and materials.
Qualifications
- May substitute additional years of formal education for work experience and vice versa.
- Experience in long-term or geriatric care setting or other roles involving medical care.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification.

$19.24 - $34.32 hourly
Schedule
Proposed Schedule: 6:45am - 3:15pm shifts, rotating weekends (additional $2.00/hour)

After-hire Requirements
- If hired in trainee status, must obtain a NH Nursing Assistant license within 6 months of hire.
