Job Responsibilities
- Engage on-site or via telehealth with clients experiencing mental health or substance use crises.
- Establish crisis assessments and collaborate with care coordinators and family members or other community supports.
- Maintain client safety and plan for appropriate levels of care following crisis intervention.
- Update clinical knowledge and use appropriate treatment methods based on diagnosis.
- Follow practices for the protection of personal health information and report breaches immediately.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, supervisors, and other helping professionals to support client treatment goals.
- Attend external agency meetings, clinic staff meetings, and periodic trainings as required.
- Participate in regular individual supervision meetings.
Qualifications
- Holds a Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication.
- Able to utilize a computer and become competent in the use of an electronic health record.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Passes a CORI and driving background check.
