Licensed Mobile Crisis Clinician

Full-time and part-time positions available in Chicopee, MA.

About the role

Seeking Licensed Clinicians to work in a team environment providing care to adults and youth in CHD’s CBHC Adult or Youth Mobile Crisis programs. These programs offer 24/7 support, assessment, care coordination, and follow-up to clients experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. All CBHC programs are co-located and highly integrated to treat individuals and families throughout the care continuum. Open 7 days per week, with all shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients in behavioral health crisis on-site or via telehealth.
• Conduct crisis assessments and coordinate care.
• Maintain safety of client and others.
• Collaborate with family or other community supports as identified by the client.
• Offer timely and appropriate interventions.
• Plan discharge to appropriate levels of care.
• Gather and analyze client problems using a body of clinical knowledge.
• Apply treatment methods appropriate to the diagnosis and consistent with accepted practice standards for social work or mental health counseling.
• Protect personal health information and report any breaches immediately.
• Interact professionally with colleagues, supervisors, and external helping professionals to support the client’s treatment goals.
• Attend external agency meetings, clinic staff meetings, and periodic trainings as required.
• Attend regular individual supervision meetings.
• Fulfill the mission and core values of the agency, representing these values to clients and community contacts.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or related field.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication.
• Able to use a computer and become competent in an electronic health record system.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a CORI and driving background check.

Pay

$35.10/hour.
