Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) - Part-Time

About the Role

Deliver remote, evidence-based therapy to adult clients (18+), practicing modalities like CBT, DBT, ACT, MBCT, TLDP, IPT, EFT, and MI. Maintain a caseload of 7-20 attended ongoing therapy sessions per week. Use data to drive effective treatment and adjust your approach based on client progress. Collaborate with other mental health providers as needed and refer clients when appropriate. Maintain progress notes and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.

Requirements

• Licensed in Washington as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)
• Willing and motivated to become licensed in other states (costs covered by Two Chairs)
• Available for 8-24 hours per week, with 85% of time in client sessions (includes ongoing therapy appointments and assessments for new clients)
• 2+ years of clinical experience with adults (18+)
• At least six months of teletherapy experience
• Proficient with clinical assessments (e.g., PHQ-9) for tracking client progress
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Select 7-10 session hours between 8am and 9pm PST, Monday through Friday
• Available during regular business hours for a minimum of 1 hour per week during the first 6 weeks for training, followed by 30 minutes per month for ongoing support
• All documentation to be completed, signed, and locked in EMR within 48 hours of client contact (option to use an AI-assist tool)

Compensation

• Clinical rate: $76/hour (includes mandatory training) for WA residents; out-of-state clinical rates range $58.50–$85/hour
• Administrative rate (includes late shows/cancellations): $23/hour
• Sign-on bonus: $500 for 7-12 client hours, $1,000 for 13+ client hours (start by November 30th)
• Semi-monthly pay as a W-2 employee

Schedule

• Select a weekly caseload ranging from 7 to 20 clients
• Session availability between 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday
