About the role

Baptist Medical Center seeks a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. This is a Full-Time Days position.

Responsibilities

• Assess psychosocial needs and provides services that enhance patient functioning, emotional well-being and continued access to services and resources in the community.
• Facilitates group and individual therapies on an inpatient behavioral health unit.
• Completes documentation as required for regulatory purposes (Baker Act, clinical documentation).
• Aids in safety planning.

Requirements

• 3-5 Years Experience in Mental Health field
• 1-2 years Individual Counseling Experience
• 1-2 years Group Counseling Experience
• Assessment and Diagnostic Experience
• Less than 1 year Case Management Experience

Credential Requirements

• Licensed Mental Health Counselor required
• A valid Florida LMHC is required for this role, registered interns will not be considered.
