About the role
Wolfson Children’s Hospital is the only children’s hospital in the region, ranked by U.S. News & World Report among the best children’s hospitals in the U.S. This position is a Full Time Days opportunity (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in the Behavioral Health Unit’s pediatric unit at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in downtown Jacksonville, FL. Up to $500 sign-on bonus available for full-time days.
Responsibilities
- Provides care to patients in a manner that considers safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Documents observations on assigned patients.
- Communicates appropriate information regarding patient's condition.
- Assists with patient education groups and total milieu supervision.
- Assists with admissions and discharges as assigned.
*CPI Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Requirements
- Behavioral Health experience
- High School Diploma
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI)
