About the role
Serve as a trusted advisor to Medicare beneficiaries by helping them understand and enroll in Medicare Advantage, Part D, Medicare Supplement, and ancillary insurance products that best fit their healthcare and financial needs.
Responsibilities
- Educate clients on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plan options
- Conduct needs-based consultations to identify appropriate healthcare coverage solutions
- Absorb clients with enrollments while ensuring full CMS and carrier compliance
- Sell ancillary insurance products including: Hospital Indemnity, Cancer Plans, Critical Illness, Vision and related supplemental products
- Build and maintain long-term relationships through exceptional client service and follow-up
- Manage and maintain accurate client records using CRM and enrollment platforms such as Sunfire
- Stay informed on Medicare regulations, carrier updates, and enrollment guidelines
- Work collaboratively within a remote, team-oriented environment while independently achieving performance goals
- Support clients during SEP (Special Enrollment Period) opportunities with professionalism and urgency
Requirements
- Active Health Insurance License (required)
- AHIP 2026 Certification (required)
- Resume and NIPR report (PDB report) required
- Must hold at least 15 active non-resident state licenses
- Minimum of 2 years actively selling Medicare products
- Proven experience selling during SEP (Special Enrollment Periods)
- Experience selling ancillary insurance products
- Strong knowledge of: Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement Plans, Medicare Part D, Ancillary health products
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to ethical, compliant sales practices
- Experience with enrollment and client management systems such as Sunfire
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative remote team culture
