Licensed Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) – Full-Time, In-Person

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Licensed Loan Officer Assistant to join our growing mortgage team and play a key role in guiding loans from application to closing.

Responsibilities

• Assist borrowers with completing loan applications and gathering required documentation
• Maintain communication with clients, real estate agents, title companies, and internal team members throughout the loan process
• Track loan milestones and follow up on outstanding or missing documentation
• Cook up and manage loan files
• Input and update borrower information within CRM and loan origination systems (LOS)
• Help ensure loan files remain accurate, compliant, and organized for processing and underwriting
• Aid in supporting a smooth and positive client experience from application through closing
• Help manage pipeline flow and prioritize deadlines in a fast-moving environment
• Help review income, assets, and documentation as needed

Requirements

• Active NMLS license is required
• 2-3+ years of mortgage experience
• Strong understanding of mortgage guidelines, documentation, and loan structure
• Experience with AUS, CRM and LOS platforms
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Highest level of organization with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple files simultaneously
• Team-oriented attitude with a service-first mindset
• Self-motivated and dependable in a deadline-driven environment
