Job Overview
The Licensed Loan Officer Assistant provides support to CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC’s (“CCM”) mortgage loan officers in their daily duties to increase loan production levels. The position is remote in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Job Responsibilities
- Aid in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation, including phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, overnighting documents, etc.
- Create and deliver mortgage loan disclosure packages and rate disclosure/re-disclosure packages to borrowers.
- Review documents and loan files, identifying and addressing deficiencies, and notifying relevant parties.
- Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers and processors as needed.
- Support various stages and areas of lending and processing under management guidance.
- Manage loan pipelines for conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage products.
- Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to borrowers and track receipt of necessary documentation.
- Facilitate timely loan closings by coordinating with the Title Company and customers.
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of mortgage-related experience, including customer contact.
- Previous sales support experience preferred.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
