Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and licensed Insurance Customer Service & Sales Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to providing exceptional customer service, expanding our insurance product offerings, and fostering client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective and existing clients through various channels including telemarketing, outside sales, and in-person meetings to promote insurance products.
- Conduct needs analysis to recommend suitable insurance solutions tailored to individual client requirements.
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing policies, updating client records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Negotiate policy terms with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction while meeting company sales targets.
- Provide ongoing customer service support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships.
- Assist with marketing initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones through targeted campaigns.
- Collaborate with the benefits administration team to ensure clients understand their coverage options and benefits.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to effectively communicate value propositions.
Qualifications
- Valid insurance license required; prior experience in insurance sales strongly preferred.
- Prior proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to analyze client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficiency in sales administration tools and CRM software; familiarity with marketing strategies is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analysis skills for assessing client data and market trends.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to customer confidentiality is preferred.
