The Licensed Insurance Agent - Property & Casualty position is a remote opportunity for a licensed insurance professional based in the United States. This role focuses on providing personalized support and expert guidance on personal lines insurance products, emphasizing service excellence and clear communication.

About the role

This position involves assisting customers with a wide range of insurance-related tasks, including handling policy updates, billing questions, underwriting inquiries, and coverage changes. The role also includes collaborating with insurance carriers and internal teams to resolve customer concerns and maintain compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable assistance across personal property and casualty insurance services.
• Absorb and communicate insurance quotes, new policies, billing questions, underwriting inquiries, and policy modifications.
• Manage insurance transactions, including endorsements, cancellations, and coverage changes, while adhering to compliance requirements and internal procedures.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers and internal teams to research issues, resolve customer concerns, and provide timely information.
• Maintain required insurance certifications and continuously expand product knowledge to better support customers.
• Achieve performance goals related to service quality, response times, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage multiple applications and communication tools while maintaining organization and attention to detail in a remote environment.

Requirements

• An active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license.
• Customer service experience.
• Professional communication skills, including empathy and a strong understanding of insurance compliance requirements and regulatory standards.
• Strong research skills, internet proficiency, and the ability to quickly learn new products and processes.
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills and comfort using digital platforms.
• A typing speed of at least 20 words per minute with 90% accuracy.
• Ability to meet remote work requirements, including a stable wired internet connection and a suitable home workspace.
