About the role

Mid Mountain Insurance Agency (MMIA), a Fortegra company, is seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in outbound prospecting, leveraging MMIA's industry strength and support to grow their book of business.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through targeted outbound calls, referrals, networking, and proactive follow-ups
  • Close new business opportunities while consistently delivering exceptional customer service
  • Leverage MMIA's extensive carrier network to find the best solutions for each client
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients and strategic partners
  • Monitor and manage CRM systems, tracking performance metrics and activity
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and product knowledge
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to ensure retention and growth

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty license (multi-state preferred)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, particularly in outbound sales environments
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to own results and manage your workload effectively
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and persuasive sales abilities
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
  • 1+ year of sales experience (bonus points for 4–7 years)
  • Bilingual in Spanish (bonus point)
  • A book of business to bring with you

Pay

  • Reliable base salary starting at $21.75/hour, adjusted based on industry experience
  • Uncapped commission structure with potential for significant earnings growth
