What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding policies and billing
- Process customer requests in compliance with assigned authority and document files accurately
- Manage a large volume of inbound and outbound calls while maintaining service levels
- Interface with team members and management to address customer service issues
- Recognize when to refer callers to underwriters and do so in a timely manner
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- One or more active licenses in Property & Casualty
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment
- Strong attention to detail and good decision-making skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2+ years of experience and/or training in Property and Casualty Insurance
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with homeowners' insurance preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Insurance experience with an insurance agency or direct carrier
