What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding policies and billing
  • Process customer requests in compliance with assigned authority and document files accurately
  • Manage a large volume of inbound and outbound calls while maintaining service levels
  • Interface with team members and management to address customer service issues
  • Recognize when to refer callers to underwriters and do so in a timely manner

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • One or more active licenses in Property & Casualty
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment
  • Strong attention to detail and good decision-making skills
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2+ years of experience and/or training in Property and Casualty Insurance

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience with homeowners' insurance preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Insurance experience with an insurance agency or direct carrier
