Licensed Creative Arts Therapist - Therapeutic Rehabilitation - Full Time Days

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) to join our Therapeutic Rehabilitation team. In this role, you will provide functional assessments and therapeutic activities tailored to meet the individual needs and treatment goals of patients with psychiatric illnesses and disorders across our hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional assessments and therapeutic activities tailored to meet the individual needs and treatment goals of patients with psychiatric illnesses and disorders.
• Foster a nurturing and therapeutic environment for patients preparing to return to their families and engage in productive, fulfilling lives.
• Work within a team of licensed and certified professionals to support patient recovery and well-being.

Requirements

• BLS Certification with American Heart Association
• Preferred: Previous experience in the field
• Preferred: New York State LCAT with a concentration in Music Therapy
• Required: Master's Degree
• Required: NYS Licensed Creative Arts Therapy Registration (LCAT)

Pay

$49.86-$51.36/Hourly

Schedule

This is a full time day position (9am - 4:30pm), Sunday - Thursday.
