Licensed Creative Arts Therapist - Therapeutic Activities - Part Time Days

About the role

We are seeking a part-time Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) to join our Therapeutic Activities team. In this role, you will provide functional assessments and therapeutic activities tailored to meet the individual needs and treatment goals of patients with psychiatric illnesses and disorders across our hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional assessments and therapeutic activities tailored to meet the individual needs and treatment goals of patients with psychiatric illnesses and disorders.
• Foster a nurturing and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Prepare patients to return to their families and engage in productive, fulfilling lives.

Requirements

• BLS Certification with American Heart Association
• Previous experience in the field
• Master's Degree
• NYS Licensed Creative Arts Therapy Registration (LCAT)

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of therapeutic arts techniques

Pay

$49.86-$51.36/Hourly

Schedule

This is a part-time day shift position, covering two weekdays (Monday's & Friday's).
