About the role

The Department of Human Services seeks a Bi-lingual Social Caseworker for the Expedited Permanency Planning Unit. Our mission is to promote the safety, independence, and stability of individuals and families through community building.

Responsibilities

• Work toward reaching child placement permanency within 12 months of removal from parental care
• Manage cases involving children aged 0 to 6 years
• Report to the court
• Handle a significant Spanish-speaking caseload
• Knowledge of child development and Spanish language skills are beneficial

Requirements

• BSW and 1 year of post-degree experience in a human services agency
• BA/BS in related field and 2 years post-degree experience
• MA in related field and 1 year of experience
• MSW with relevant work experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• BSW or MSW
• Proficiency in Spanish
