Position Summary

The License Eligible Therapist - School/Home & Community Based Services position will provide behavioral health and/or child welfare related services to youth and their families in school, community and/or home settings in order to achieve their identified goals.

About the role

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioral health and/or child welfare related services to youth and their families in school, community and/or home settings in order to achieve their identified goals.
  • Must be knowledgeable of school and social service systems, special education, child welfare and/or juvenile probation systems and community resources.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and handle highly confidential information with professionalism.
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling or other mental health related field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education required.
  • One (1) year of related experience highly preferred.
  • Community Mental Health experience highly preferred.
  • Licensure: Must be License Eligible by the State of Indiana as a Social Worker (LSW), Mental Health Counselor (LMHCA) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFTA) and must have temporary license until LSW, LMHCA or LMFTA becomes active.

Drug screen, TB test and extensive background checks (including Criminal History, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, Education Verification, and Professional References) are required of all Aspire employees.
