Role and Responsibilities: The licensed behavioral health clinician provides school-based therapy, including psychosocial evaluations, individual, family, and group therapy, and care coordination. They conduct outreach to identify students needing mental health support, collaborate with other providers, and refer clients for medication management when necessary. The clinician performs crisis interventions, assesses safety concerns, develops and adjusts treatment plans, and supports clients and their families. They stay informed about field developments and utilize community resources to enhance care. Administrative Duties: Complete timely documentation such as intake forms, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, adhering to regulations and policies. They also prepare reports for external agencies and participate in agency committees. Qualifications and Skills: Must hold a current CT LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license issued by DPH. Bilingual candidates are encouraged. The role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to perform crisis interventions, and excellent documentation practices. This full-time position during the school year offers competitive hourly wages and the option for limited summer work.
