School-Based Licensed Counselor / Therapist

About the role

This position involves providing school-based mental health therapy to students, including psychosocial evaluations, individual, family, or group therapy, and care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach within schools and collaborate with other providers
• Perform crisis interventions, including safety assessments for high-risk clients
• Develop, adjust, and evaluate treatment plans for effectiveness
• Support families to enhance client well-being
• Document all clinical interventions in compliance with regulatory standards, including timely completion of notes and reports for external agencies
• Participate in team meetings and adhere to productivity standards
• Engage in community mental health initiatives

Requirements

• Current CT LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and crisis management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
